My condolances to those who lost friends or loved ones in the Bali bombings last night. I was shocked to hear it happened again and only a few days after I was there. But more important, are the people who are still there... my heart is with you. I can't imagine why anyone would want to destroy anything or anyone so beautiful. P
thank god you are okay! what about the people you were with there? i hope all is well. stay safe,

Hey Pam,
ReplyDeleteI haven't checked your blog in a while.. so I had to do a bit of a catch up. It all sounds so amazing.. do you feel like a new/changed women yet?

relieved to hear that you are okay. good thing that you are keeping us posted on blog. take care and hope that you find ways to liberate yourself and your art, the way the children have. s.
ReplyDeleteYes, everyone is ok, they actually went to Lombok for the weekend! But unfortunately, tourism in Bali will go down yet again, before it even completely recovered from the first time. And I wonder about the people who served us lunch on the beach when we visited Jimbaran and the vacationers I met on the bus trip who stayed in Kuta.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I feel like a new woman, more like an old one!!! Haha, not really. But these youngsters I meet at the hostels keep telling me "when they are 30" they'd like to be settled down with a house and kids. I tell them, you can want it but life doesn't always go the way you expect!!!
